On Wednesday, 3rd July, you will be able to arrive on the Academy site from 8:30 to our Common Room and then commence introductory academic sessions to your Level 3 studies from 9am-1:30pm each day. You will be able to access Academy buses if required, for arrival to, and departure from the Academy. You will be able to remain in the Key Stage 5 Library if waiting for an Academy bus.

During the in-school induction days you will have access to our Sixth Form Canteen to purchase food or drinks during your break time, but the day will finish at 1:30pm meaning you are able to leave the site and have your lunch after the academic sessions; should you wish to purchase food you will need to bring electronic payment for use.  

You will be treated as a member of the Sixth Form on these days. Timetables have  been constructed based on your application forms, and will be shared during the Parent Presentation on Monday, and then issued to students the first day of Induction.  As part of the Induction experience, you will have the opportunity to discuss any option changes you may wish to make with a member of the Academy team as well as explore alternate curriculum choices during the 2 days. All final subject choices will depend on your GCSE results in August.

All applicants will be interviewed to discuss your progress and future pathways during term 3. This will involve looking at your next steps and your application and course choices for sixth form and expected GCSE results.

The evening will be dedicated to your child’s preparations for the Key Stage 5 curriculum here at the Academy.  Information about individual qualifications, subjects and guidance will all be available throughout the evening. 

Once presentations have been completed, attendees will have the opportunity to visit department areas and speak to staff members regarding subjects available.

Our Open Day event for September 2025 intake is on Saturday 12th October 2024.

No need to register or pre-book. 

The event runs from 9:30am to 3:00pm with last entry at 2pm. 

The Principal’s Talks will be in Siena Hall at 10am, 11am, 12noon, 1pm and 2pm. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the talk, as spaces fill up quickly and there is no late admission.  

Applications for entry in September 2025 will open during our Open Day. 

The deadline for completed applications will be Wednesday 8th January 2025 at midday.
