Course summary

The qualification will give you an understanding of the essential theoretical and practical scientific knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to begin a professional career in a science industry or move on to Further/ higher Education. The course consists of three core units plus one specialist unit (to total 360 guided learning hours). The Level 3 Certificate is completed in year 12 and the Extended Certificate in year 13
