Health Studies

Course summary

The department is committed to inspiring and motivating learners through high quality teaching and learning and progression guidance. We have new health and care facilities for 2023 including a Simulated Nursing and Care Training Room and Practice Hospital Ward, a Science and Health Laboratory and 360 Immersive Room. This course is designed for students who wish to focus on health and care but also wish to study two further A Level subjects. Students will have access to the new industry standard health facilities including our simulated hospital ward and specialist laboratory. On this course you will study a variety of health and social care related subjects such as human lifespan, legislation, communication and mental health.
