Assessment

During the first year of Sixth Form, Biology students study 3 modules comprising Foundations in Biology (cell structure and function, biological molecules and enzymes), Exchange and Transport (the movement of gases and other important molecules in mammals, other animals, and plants) and Biodiversity, Evolution, and Disease. Practical skills will be also taught throughout Year 12 to be assessed within examination papers.
