Assessment

Assessment in Level Geography comes in the form of 3 exams and an independent investigation. The first two exams assess their knowledge of the content found in the human and physical sections of the course. Each of these exams accounts for 30% of the final grade. The third exam contains the synoptic element which looks at the big issues which link all aspects of the course together and is worth 20% of the final grade. The independent investigation is an investigation carried out on a topic of your choosing and accounts for 20% of the final grade.
