You should follow the course if: • You have enjoyed Drama through the school • You wish to improve your communication skills • You wish to achieve an A Level in an enjoyable way • You enjoy social interaction with others • You enjoy going to the theatre and studying plays in a practical way • You enjoy performing and/or designing • You are committed to rehearsing after school at times • You enjoy working with professional directors, scriptwriters, actors, and designers During the course you will: • Develop a multitude of skills, including collaboration, communication and an understanding of how to amend and refine work • Perform in, or design for, a play and extract from plays • Study plays in depth, concentrating on how they would be staged • Study the theories of theatrical practitioners • Analyze live theatre events • Specialize in acting, design, or technical skills
