Course summary

- Business students get an excellent understanding of business practice and business related skills to enable them to adapt to roles needed within the workplace or when setting up a business of their own. - A one or two year course which develops knowledge of the business sector through both classroom projects and visits to local businesses. - Learners develop technical and employability skills such as self-management, teamwork, business and customer awareness, problem solving, communication, literacy and numeracy, a positivite attitude to work and the use of IT. - This course will add to learners' knowledge and understanding of the business sector as part of their career progression and development plans. - Learners have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to build relationships with a wide variety of customers both internal and external within a range of business environments.
