You will study the following aspects of animal management along with English, Maths and developing your study skills: Animal Biology Animal Welfare and Ethics Practical Animal Husbandry Animal Behaviour Animal Health and Diseases Work Experience in the Animal Sector If you have not already achieved a level 4 English and Maths GCSE, you will continue to work towards these qualifications at a level that is appropriate for you. You will either be studying Functional Skills from Entry 1 – Level 1 or be in a GCSE class.
Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care at Merit Grade Plus The willingness to work towards achieving GCSE level 4 or above English and Maths or (Functional Skills level 2) Mature learners with related work experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
