Assessment

There will be 3 written exams (all 2 hours and 15 minutes each) plus coursework. Paper 1 is an assessment of Dynamic Landscapes and Physical Systems and Sustainability (worth 30% of the A-Level). Paper 2 is an assessment of Dynamic Places Human Systems and Geopolitics (worth 30% of the A-Level). Paper 3 is a synoptic investigation of a geographical issue (worth 20% of the A-Level). The coursework is a non-examined assessment and is a report of 3000-4000 words, worth 20% of the A-Level.
