Course summary

A-Level Psychology will give you an understanding of the way people think and why people behave in certain ways. You will learn a variety of skills including analytical thinking, improved communication, problem solving and many more that will prepare you for an exciting future with the possibility of a range of fantastic careers. AIMS • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of psychological concepts, theories, research studies, research methods and ethical issues in relation to the specified content; • Apply psychological knowledge and understanding of the specified content in a range of contexts; • Analyse, interpret and evaluate psychological concepts, theories, research studies and research methods in relation to the specified content; • Evaluate therapies and treatments including in terms of their appropriateness and effectiveness.
