Course summary

Ideal if: you want a career in this ever-changing and ever-developing sector, important industry working with young children or if you want to progress on to university or enter employment. You’ll learn: how to observe children, provide and review care needs, support play and educational opportunities which will enable children to develop through the use of age-appropriate activities, checking children’s learning and development, health, well-being and safety, legislation, safeguarding, curriculum frameworks and professional practice and development. Expect: lots of support to reach your full potential, while learning all the practical skills to be an early years professional. You’ll love: our placement opportunities where you will be able to apply what you have learnt in a real setting working with children from 0-5 years. This course prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
