Course summary

Computer Science is a practical and yet intensely creative subject where learners can apply the academic principles learned in class to real-world systems. Within the course, you will study a range of theory topics, which include the principles and understanding linked to programming, topics such as hardware and software, networks, systems development life cycles, and implications of computer use. You will develop the skills to solve problems, design systems and understand the power and limits of human and machine intelligence. Through the creation of a programming project, students will have the opportunity to create a substantial piece of software using modern design methods and industry-level programming languages.
