Assessment

As a linear course, all examinations take place at the end of year 13. There are three examinations which will each assess various content from all topics as well as relevant practical skills. · Paper 1 covers topics 1-5 and 6.1 will contribute 34% of the final A-level grade. · Paper 2 covers topics 6.2-8 and will contribute 34% of the final A-level grade. · Paper 3 covers content from practical tasks completed over the year and the optional topic and will contribute 32% of the final A-level.
