Paper 1: Pure Maths ◦ Students must answer all questions. ◦ Calculators can be used in the assessment Written exam: 2 hours 33.33% of the A level 100 marks Paper 2: Pure Maths 2 All the content of the specification for Paper 1 is assumed knowledge for Paper 2 and may also be tested within parts of questions. ◦ Students must answer all questions. ◦ Calculators can be used in the assessment. Paper 3: Statistics and Mechanics ◦ The assessment comprises two sections: Section A – Statistics and Section B – Mechanics. Each section is worth 50 marks. ◦ Students must answer all questions. ◦ Calculators can be used in the assessment. Written exam: 2 hours 33.33% of the A level 100 marks
