Assessment

• Unit 1 (2 hours 30 mins) Listening and reading paper. It also includes translation into English. This is 50 % of the A-Level. • Unit 2 (2 hours) Essay paper. Students write about the film they studied in Year 12, and the book or play they studied in Year 13. This paper is worth 20% of the A-Level. • Unit 3 – Speaking exam. Students discuss one topic with the help of a stimulus card. They then present and discuss their independent research project. This exam is worth 30% of the A-Level.
