Course summary

If you have always been intrigued by how and in what ways films are made, then A level Film Studies may be for you. This course not only focuses on filmmaking but the context in which these films were made, particularly in terms of their historical and societal contexts. During the Film Studies course you will deconstruct and analyse a wide variety of films, including films such as Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, City of God and Shaun of the Dead.
