Mandatory Section This includes units such as: 1 Building positive relationships in health and social care 2 Equality , diversity and rights in health and social care (Exam) 3 Health, safety and security in health and social care (Exam) 4 Anatomy and physiology (Exam) 5 Infection control in health and social care 6 Personalisation and a person-centered approach to care (Exam) Optional Units selected Specialist unit -students work on either 60 or 120 Guided Learning Hours over the 2nd year which could include: Unit 24—Public Health Unit 23—Sociological perspective on HSC Unit 22—Psychological perspective on HSC Unit 15—Promoting Health and Wellbeing Unit 14—Impact of long term physiological conditions Unit 10—Nutrition for health Unit 9 — Supporting people with Learning Disabilities Unit 8—Creativity and activity for children & young people
