Film Studies

Course summary

Film Studies is an exciting opportunity to be creative in a way that you may not have experienced before. You will start out learning about the basics of cinema such as “how are films made?” You will then develop your understanding and be able to analyze and discuss complex films in detail. We will study cinema as a medium, as an art form, and as a social and economic institution. You will explore a vast array of films from inside and outside of Hollywood and will learn about editing and production.
