Course summary

You will build upon the topics that you studied at GCSE but the onus is now upon you to argue and debate your own point of view. You will read materials from the French press, watch French TV and DVDs, listen to French podcasts, and use the internet. Grammar is taught intensively during Term 1 to strengthen your knowledge of the language. It is then revisited throughout the 2-year course.
