Course summary
This course covers a broad and exciting range of topics and eras, starting with the mysterious Bronze Age Civilisations from around 1600–1100 BC, and the epics of Homer. Students can choose their studies, and can cover the flowering of culture, literature, democracy and philosophy of 5 th Century BC Athens. Students can also explore 1 st Century BC Rome, one of the most fascinating time periods of the Roman Civilisation, where they will be introduced to the complex political settings of the emperors.
