41% Externally Assessed 59% Coursework Unit 1: External examination- 3 40minute Biology, Chemistry & physics papers taken in the summer of year 12 Unit 2: Internally assessed (coursework)- 4 written tasks based on extended practical work Unit 3: External examination- A 3-hour practical followed by a 1.5-hour exam on that practical and general practical work. This assessment is taken in the summer of year 13 Unit 8: Internally assessed (coursework)-Biology unit based on human physiology. It is assessed in 3 written tasks
