Physics
Course summary
From the smallest subatomic particle to the largest star; Physics is the subject that tries to explain why the universe is the way it is. It is an ideal subject to be combined with Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, and Product Design. During the course, students will develop an understanding of the laws of the universe. By studying mankind's greatest thinkers students develop the confidence to explain a wide range of phenomena and explain the world around them. - Module 1 Development of practical skills in physics - Module 2 Foundations of Physics Units, Scalar and Vector Quantities - Module 3 Forces and motion Constant acceleration, free fall, and projectile motion Newton's laws of motion - Module 4 Electrons, waves, and Photons Charge, current and potential difference. Conservation of energy. - Module 5 Newtonian world and astrophysics Gravitational Fields Simple Harmonic Motion - Module 6 Particle and medical physics Particles, Quarks, nuclear fission and fusion X-ray, ultrasound and magnetic resonance
