Course summary

This subject will provide you with a detailed understanding of: the physiology within the systems of the human body; and an introduction to biological molecules, energy processes, control mechanisms and genetics. You will have the opportunity to carry out practical investigations, including genetic analysis techniques used in the industry. You could go on to study subjects such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry, Ecology, Healthcare, Medicine, Veterinary Science and Zoology.
