Assessment

Over two years, you will study 13 units of which 9 are internally assessed and 4 are externally assessed. Students will complete two external units in the first year of study and two in the second year of study. The course is assessed through the completion of 7 mandatory units plus 6 optional units which in total is equivalent to 3 A Levels. You will be assessed through two main forms of assessment: coursework and external exams. The coursework units will give you the opportunity to write the findings of your own research, use case studies to explore complex situations and demonstrate practical and technical skills using appropriate equipment, procedures and techniques.
