Geography

Course summary

Geography will develop your understanding of both physical and human geography from a local through to a global scale. You will develop practical fieldwork skills as well as exploring and thinking critically about the interactions between people and their environment. The course explores the key principles, concepts and processes that explain geographical phenomena and landscapes. It maintains a balance between physical and human geography with relevance to the modern world. Topics covered are water, carbon, coasts, tectonic hazards, space and place, human rights, migration and food.
