Course summary
The Edexcel A Level in English Literature aims to develop the critical and analytical skills gained at GCSE. In particular, the course requires pupils to express themselves with fluency and precision whilst comparing literary texts at a sophisticated level. Pupils will develop as readers and researchers through the exploration of socio-historical context, critical interpretations and modern theory.
