An A-Level in Religious Studies, Philosophy & Ethics builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills established at GCSE. You will be introduced to a more advanced, complex approach to Religious Studies, and will develop a deeper understanding of the beliefs, teachings and philosophy they study. This course gives you the opportunity to explore major philosophical questions in the history of Western and Eastern Philosophy. It is a subject that asks meaningful questions about the nature of the world and humanity’s place within it: • Who am I? • Why am I here? • How should we all live together? • Is there life after death? This course is for anyone who is interested in religion, philosophy and ethics. If you have an enquiring mind, are receptive to new ideas and enjoy asking fundamental questions about important issues, then this is the right subject for you.
