Paper 1 and 2: Pure Mathematics 1 and 2 Proof, algebra, graphs, sequences, trigonometry, logarithms, calculus, vectors, functions, numerical methods and differential equations. Paper 3: Statistics and Mechanics Statistics (Section A) Probability, the binomial distribution, the normal distribution and hypothesis testing. Mechanics (Section B) Kinematics, forces, Newton’s laws, motion under gravity, friction and moments.
