The course is assessed over three written examination papers: Paper 1 (37% of total A Level): Practical skills, Foundations of Physics, Forces and Motion, Newtonian world and astrophysics Paper 2 (37% of total A Level): Practical skills, Foundations of Physics, Electrons, waves and photons, Particles and medical Physics Paper 3 (26% of total A Level): Synoptic paper assessing content from all modules.
