Course summary

Geography is the study of the people, places and environments of our world, the processes by which they are changing and the interconnections between them – both locally and globally. The concepts of sustainability are important as is the management and mismanagement of the environment in different global contexts. Geography is a very diverse subject that sits at the interface of the sciences and humanities and provides a firm base for life-long learning. Consequently, Geography graduates go into a wide variety of jobs, particularly in fields such as law, development, journalism, management, environmental consultancy and the financial sector to name a few.
