Design and Technology (Product Design)

Course summary

Component one: Principles of Design and Technology. There will be a written examination of two hours and 30 minutes worth 50% of the qualification (120 marks). The written examination will take place at the end of Year 13. Component two:Independent Design and Make Project (Paper code: 9DT0/02). This is a nonexamined assessment worth 50% of the qualification (120 marks). The design and make project will span across Year 12 and 13.
