Assessment

Assessment is by examination in Year 13. • PAPER 1: Listening, reading and translation based on the core topics (50%). • PAPER 2: Two essays based on literature/film (20%). • PAPER 3: The speaking examination comprises of a discussion card which is based on one of the core topics (5 minutes) followed by a 2-minute presentation and a 9-10-minute discussion based on the Individual Research Project prepared during the course (30%).
