Course summary

Business is a dynamic and engaging subject that throws pupils into the heart of large and small organisations across the globe. The course provides a superb grounding for those considering a business-related course at undergraduate level, or who are interested in launching their own business ideas, by introducing them to all aspects of how a business works. Pupils look at the interactions of different business functions, from marketing and human resources, through to finance and operations to see how these vital areas interlink to help businesses to function and thrive. Pupils are encouraged to engage with real world examples and case studies to further their understanding. This is complemented with visiting speakers, an opportunity to participate in the Mini-MBA Elective programme and trips to local businesses to bring the theory to life.
