Assessment

This is a linear course with examinations coming at the end of Year 13 in which students are required to know their texts in great detail, including a thorough knowledge of social and literary context. The examinations count for 80% of the final grade. Coursework allows students to explore more contemporary pieces and is worth 20% of the final grade.
