Entry Requirements

Passes in a minimum of six subjects at GCSE (Grade B or above or Grade 6 on the number grading scheme). There is a minimum requirement of 40 points accrued across the six highest GCSE grades to enter the Sixth Form at Croydon High. Grade 6 in RS, where taken, or a grade 6 in an alternative humanities subject, and a 6 in English. The GCSE grade is not necessarily a good indicator of aptitude at A level. The emphasis at A level is on the pupil’s ability to assess, evaluate and apply different arguments and theories.
