Design and Technology (Product Design)

Entry Requirements

Students will have completed a GCSE Design Technology course with a good pass, usually at Grade 6. Students new to the school should submit their portfolio of work. It is also recommended that candidates have attained a GCSE Grade 5 in English. Students should have independent ability in sketching and rendering, modelling, research and concept development. It is also important that students can creatively solve problems and think analytically about their own design solutions.
