Assessment

Qualification Content: Unit 1 Personal Investigation 60% of the mark. Coursework will consist of a range of work completed in the Graphic Communication/Fine Art areas to reflect each candidate's chosen focus of study. Unit 2 Externally-set assignment 40% of the mark. A range of questions/starting points is set by the board. An outcome is produced following a period of preparation in which ideas and images can be developed in sketchbooks. All work is marked internally and moderated by AQA.
