Entry Requirements

It is possible for students to take History at A-level even if they did not study it at GCSE level. However, if this is the case, prospective students must have a strong understanding of contextual knowledge of 20th century World History. We expect students who have taken GCSE History to have gained a Grade 7-9, and those who have not taken GCSE to have gained a Grade 7 in both English Language and Literature.
