Course summary
Economics is rooted in the study of how people behave and interact with one another. Students study the dynamics between consumers, businesses, governments and financial markets. They learn to understand how these factors influence employment, prices, international trade and the wealth/poverty divide. The subject draws on high levels of literacy and numeracy and teaches students to synthesise a wide range of types of information.
