Entry Requirements

Students will require a strong foundation in both GCSE Maths and Physics, achieving a minimum of Grade 7 in both subjects. There is no requirement to study Mathematics A Level alongside Physics, but the two do support each other well. Mathematics is essential if you wish to study Physics or Engineering beyond the RGS. Further Mathematics is recommended, but not essential, for those considering an Oxbridge Engineering/Physics application. Physics can make an excellent supporting A Level choice as a numerical and practical subject where Mathematics is not taken.
