Component 1: Breadth Study Britain 1783‐ 1885: Industrialisation and the People Component 2: Depth Study Democracy and Nazism: 1918‐45 Both are exams worth 40% of the A‐level grade each. Component 3: Historical Investigation Coursework ‐ 20% of the A‐level grade. The topic of the enquiry will be American Civil Rights.
