Entry Requirements

All applicants are invited to attend our assessment day, during which they will sit entrance papers in Maths and English, followed by an online assessment and interview with the Principal. As part of the 13+ assessment, candidates will sit a further paper in a subject of their choice. Other scholarships (eg., art, sport, music, drama) will also be taken at this time. In order to achieve well candidates should have gained at least Grade 7 in Biology GCSE or two Grade 7s in Dual Science. The increased mathematical content of the new specification also means that students will cope best if they have at least a Grade 7 at GCSE in Mathematics.
