Course summary

The study of economics is predicated on one simple question: in a world of finite resources, how do we satisfy our limitless wants and needs? This course focuses on the behaviour of individuals, businesses and governments as they seek to balance their conflicting objectives. The course develops analytical skills through the examination of data from a range of sources. Students will build complex models of different aspects of the economy which can be compared to real life scenarios.
