Paper 1 and Paper 2: Pure Mathematics (66.6% of A-Level grade) • These two papers will examine application of the following topics; proof, algebra and functions, coordinate geometry, sequences and series, trigonometry, exponentials and logarithms, differentiation, integration, numerical methods and vectors. • Assessment: Papers 1 and 2 are each two hours long and carry 100 marks each. Paper 3: Statistics and Mechanics (33.3% of A-Level grade) • This paper will examine application of the following topics; statistical sampling, data presentation and interpretation, probability, statistical distributions, Statistical hypothesis testing, quantities and units in mechanics, kinematics, moments, forces and Newton's laws. • Assessment: Paper 3 is two hours long and carries 100 marks.
