Biology

Course summary

A Level Biology combines well with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and is extremely useful (essential in some cases) in preparing for medical, dental and veterinary courses or degrees in the pure or applied sciences. Pupils opting for Biology should also consider taking Chemistry as virtually all degree courses which contain Biology in their course title require an A Level in Chemistry.
