Art and Design (Photography)

Course summary

Photography is delivered through the Edexcel Art & Design specification. Photography A Level is suitable for students who have a genuine interest in working creativity and who are prepared to explore and develop their ideas through lensbased media. Curiosity and personal discipline are required to make the most of this challenging and rewarding course. The A Level is taken over two-years with all components assessed in the final year, which means that technical and creative skill, learning and understanding is developed and assessed consistently over five terms. Work is exhibited professionally in the Art School at the end of May in the final term.
