What is it to be human? Are we biological machines? Rational animals? What is mind? Can computers make ethical decisions (AI)? What is the relationship between the state and the individual? Are we political animals? Do we have free will? Do we have a purpose? Are we biologically hard-wired? Are we the products of our environments? Is life meaningless because we are radically free? What do we mean when we say something is right or wrong? Is morality subjective? Is it objective? Can we make rational judgements about right and wrong? Can we define what is good or do we know it intuitively?
