Assessment

Themes include Social issues and trends, Political and artistic culture, Grammar and translation & Works: Literary texts and films. Assessments/examinations based on the topic areas will be taken throughout the course in preparation for the A Level examination at the end of the course (detailed below): Paper 1: Listening, reading and writing 2hr 30min written exam, 100 marks (50% of A Level) Paper 2: Writing 2hr written exam, 80 marks (20% of A Level) Paper 3: Speaking 21-23min oral exam, 60 marks (30% of A Level) This qualification is linear.
