Course summary

The Extended Project qualification is a compulsory part of the A Level programme for those completing three A Levels. What is the Extended Project? There are two types of Extended Project: 1. To produce an artefact, work of art or composition and an accompanying written report. 2. To write a 5,000 word essay on a topic of your choice. For both of the above you are also required to produce a project log to document your research and learning experiences and deliver a 10 minute presentation on your project. The EPQ is a process which requires consistent effort over time; it is more than simply ‘writing an essay’.
