Course summary
The A Level Politics course looks at the everchanging political landscape in Britain and America. Students consider the key institutions that govern both countries, such as the parliaments, executives, courts and constitutions as well as how politics can be influenced through elections, political parties and pressure groups. There is also a close evaluation of political ideas including liberalism, conservatism, socialism and nationalism.
